Irma3D heißt der an der Jacobs-Universität entwickelte Roboter. Die Abkürzung steht für Intelligent Robot for Mapping Applications in 3D - etwa: Intelligenter Roboter für Kartierungsanwendungen in 3D. Der ferngesteuerte Roboter fährt auf drei Rädern. Ausgestattet ist er mit verschiedenen Geräten zur Vermessung sowie Akkus für die Stromversorgung.
